Jen - owner/ teacher of Balance Yoga Studio on Rutter Ave Forty Fort, Pa commissioned me to do a large OM sign in her amazingly gorgeous space - I got inspired by taking her class Saturday morning and then going to a Om workshop where we practiced incorporating vocalizing "om” with our poses. "OM” is the universal sound - the crashing of waves - the wind through the wheat field, the insects chattering - it's what connects humans, with the plants and animals -

This time it's going to be in the Geisinger Wilkes-Barre - a healing garden for patients families off of the new Intensive Care Unit - the idea is to use the image a doctor/photographer's waterfall from Rickett's Glen - I'm to start in two weeks - the wall is about 23? x 38? this shows a study of what's to be done - the white parts are where there are windows.
I'm heading back down to Grand Cayman tomorrow and have some turtle things- hats, silk hangings and a canvas -
