Haiku Wall at 68th Fine Arts Fiesta 2024, Peace of Art
I recently dropped off new abstact paintings at Artefekts Gallery in Pittston.
These pieces are about energy and vibration - the wrapped stick brings in an element of nature. I believe certain mark making comes from a subconscious place much like some sounds and thoughts.
I was asked by artist Skip Sensbach to work with the kids at the Severn School to transform this communal area outside the ceramic and painting studio to something aesthetically pleasing.
February was designated towards working with the students at North Pocono to do a mural.
Looking Down
Walking in nature I look up around and down. All views show an array of majestic beauty. I love seeing the seemingly random arrangement of color, shapes, textures and design. Here is a 'ground scape' looking down closely.
